Today In Hip Hop History:

Redman released his fourth studio album ‘Doc’s Da Name 2000’ on December 8th, 1998.

The album featured production by Redman, along with Rockwilder, Roni Size, Gov Mattic and Erick Sermon.

Guest appearances included Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Dave Hollister, Erick Sermon, Keith Murray among others.

“I’ll Bee Dat!”, “Da Goodness”, and “Let Da Monkey Out” were released as singles to the album.
