Today In Hip Hop History:
Ice Cube released his second album ‘Death Certificate’ on October 29th, 1991.
‘Death Certificate’ featured the diss track “No Vaseline”, which is a response to his former rap group N.W.A. “No Vaseline” is considered to be one of the greatest diss tracks of all time due to its explicit and direct subject matter towards the members of the group.
Singles released off the album included “Steady Mobbin'” and “True to the Game”.
